Aaron Winning is an Australian music and creative-industries consultant based in Bangkok, working at the intersection of artist development, live events, and industry-wide strategy across Southeast Asia. With more than 18 years of operational and digital expertise, he has supported artists, festivals, and organisations across Australia, Thailand, and the wider ASEAN region.

Aaron currently serves as the General Manager and founding driver of the Independent Music Association of Thailand (IMAT), a new national trade organisation joining the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN) and its APAC Alliance. His work focuses on strengthening Thailand’s independent ecosystem through policy advocacy, cross-border collaboration, and programs that support emerging artists.

Alongside IMAT, Aaron consults for Defying Decay, AXEAN Festival, Speakerbox, and a range of live-music promoters and production teams. His regional role includes building pathways for Thai artists to export internationally while connecting global music stakeholders to Thailand’s rapidly growing indie community.
