Adam Pray is a director and producer whose work spans two decades, five continents, and a variety of mediums. Adam grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and majored in Film at Humboldt State University in Northern California. He then went on to start his career in the movie business by assisting legendary Hollywood producers and directors such as Harold Ramis, Lindsay Doran, and Neil Burger.

At 25, Adam produced his first feature film, Counting Backwards, and subsequently moved to Brooklyn, where he spent the next 13 years working as a producer and director on feature films, sitcoms, and documentaries.

In 2010, Adam started the company Rucksack Productions, which developed and produced original content for underserved markets around the world. In 2013, he produced Albania’s first-ever independent feature film, Femrat, which went on to become Albania’s highest-grossing film of all time.

Adam moved to Asia in 2019 and is now living in Bangkok, where he runs the production company Peripheral Pictures, a subsidiary of Mbrella Films.
