Aimi Kaiya

Aimi Kaiya is a contemporary Thai artist, poet, and writer whose practice explores the intersection between abstraction, emotion, nature, and spirituality.

Working primarily in mixed media — including acrylic, oil, pastel, charcoal, and spray paint her works evoke a dialogue between light and shadow, chaos and stillness, often inspired by organic forms, textures, and landscapes.

She is best known for her award-winning painting Romance in Venice, which received First Prize in the Abstract Art category at the Chianciano Biennale and now belongs to the permanent collection of the Chianciano Art Museum in Italy.

Her art has been exhibited internationally, including in Italy and Thailand, and she is preparing to showcase at the Florence Biennale 2025 under the theme The Sublime Essence of Light and Darkness.

Beyond painting, Aimi writes poetry and curates projects that bridge art, nature, and introspection.

Her creative philosophy draws from the harmony of the natural world, the depth of psychology, and the strength of faith seeking to reveal the quiet beauty within imperfection and the human soul’s continuous search for light.
