Founder and CEO

Armelle Le Bihan is the founder and CEO of Bangkok-based award-winning company, Green Building Consulting & Engineering (GBCE), providing building design consultancy to improve people’s well-being while preserving the planet. She is an environmental engineer with an expertise in sustainable building design in Europe and Asia.

Committed to promoting a green economy, Armelle is tackling environmental challenges in an advocacy, market, policy transformation and advisory capacity. In this objective, she is raising awareness among public bodies and the private sector about the need to decarbonize the industry; is developing ecosystems and frameworks to empower businesses and organizations with integrated sustainability models; and is bringing up low carbon, climate resilient buildings.

Armelle is an active stakeholder of the UNESCAP Climate Regional Roundtables and GlobalABC Market Transformation Work Area on Sustainable Buildings organized in preparation of the yearly COP, where she contributes by helping to define workable frameworks for the built environment towards Paris Agreement goals and beyond. As former co-chair of the Multi Chamber Sustainability Committee, Armelle has founded the yearly Sustainability for Business Forum which remains the largest business sustainability event in Thailand.

As a testimony of her achievements, GBCE has been commended multiple awards and recognition and she has been designated GGEF’s Eco Star of Asia, RICS Young Achiever, BNOW Eco Entrepreneur of the Year and more recently joined the Eco-Business A-List and Gen T. Leader of Tomorrow list.
