Bertrand THEAUD began his career as an M&A lawyer in Paris, Beijing, and Shanghai before transitioning into business.

His first business experience was with Edmond de Rothschild Bank, where he served as Managing Partner of their China Private Equity Fund. Concurrently, he launched his first venture in aviation, ETOPS Flight, a company specializing in pilot training and crew leasing.

In 2020, Bertrand shifted his focus to fintech and founded Statrys, a Hong Kong-based neobank (www.statrys.com). Statrys provides payment solutions tailored to entrepreneurs in Asia, including multi-currency business accounts in Hong Kong and Europe, advanced FX tools, and payment cards. The company now operates offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, and Bangkok.
