Boris is an independent director and musician in Bangkok. His recent work includes an award-winning short horror film Crush, with his sci-fi / cyberpunk film series “”3000″” five years in development. He made music videos for Vietnamese pop stars, hip hop and indie rock performers, documentary series on food and history of Thailand, commercials and TV shows – totaling 20+ years of filming.

Alongside filmmaking, Boris fronts his punk band HELP, sings, plays guitar and drums in several side projects.
Originally from Ulyanovsk, Russia, he began his creative journey as a child TV host at age 7.

He studied film, photography, and music from the age of 15, hitchhiked through 20 countries, lived in 5, and volunteered on film sets in Los Angeles. He spent three years in Shenzhen, China, working as an English teacher freelance videographer. From 2020 to 2022, he worked as an independent director in Saigon, Vietnam, contributing to music videos, feature and short films, and commercials. Moved to Bangkok in 2022 where he currently resides, makes films and music.
