Chanya McClory is an actress and model known for her versatile acting skills and unique on-screen presence. She’s of Chinese, English, and Thai descent. Her passion, work hard and dedication to her craft in acting have driven her career, allowing her to take on a variety of roles across different genres, from TV dramas to international projects.
“The Deadline” (Drama, Comedy 2018) is the first series that brought her into the spotlight and earned her the Best Leading Female Performance award at the 24th Asian Television Awards in the Philippines. Soon after, she starred for Thailand’s first Netflix Original Series “The Stranded” (Thriller, Drama, Adventure 2019)
She took a break from acting after discovering a brainstem tumor. After surgery, she made her comeback, starring in the series “Girl From Nowhere Season 2” (Mystery, Horror, Psychological, Drama 2021). Her appearance as ‘Yuri’ and the success of this series in various countries garnered significant interest from the audience.
Following that, she starred in the series “Bad Guys” (Action, Thriller 2022), a remake of the hit Korean series. In 2023, she starred in the film “Inhuman Kiss: The Last Breath” (Romance, Horror, Drama), a challenging project that involved special effects techniques. This required her to use her imagination, creativity, physicality, and emotional depth to convey this role. She created unique movements for the monster character in this film.
Most recently, she starred in the music video for the legendary band Empire of the Sun for the song “Happy Like You.”
Aside from acting, she is passionate about exploring various forms of art and self-expression, including theater and dance. She is poised to make even greater waves in the entertainment world.
In October, she’ll be performing in her first physical theater production.
