Claire Souchet has been based in Bangkok for 13 years. She is a regional director at LR Paris, a unique family company specialized in product design, in charge of operations in South East Asia and China.

Claire has been managing several design teams in her career, but is now working with her dream team. Bringing products to life is her passion and when she is not looking at people’s bags on the street, she is flipping plates in restaurants to see the maker’s brand and finishing.

“We are not artists. The word design comes from the 2 French words “dessin” and “dessein”, which means “drawing with purpose”. Designing is intrinsically linked to functions. I do not know the purpose of Art.”
