Damien Durand

Investment Director & Advisor to CP Group's Chairman

Since November 2020, he has served as an Investment Director (Thailand Office) at CT Bright Holdings, a wholly owned investment subsidiary of C.P. Group, under CP Group’s Chairman Soopakij Chearavanont. Mr. Durand joined C.P. Group through True Corp.’s Corporate Venture Capital Fund in 2016 before moving to the M&A department of True Corp.’s Content & Media arm in 2018.

Prior to C.P. Group, Mr. Durand was a Senior Analyst at Healthios, a US-based boutique investment bank focused on Healthcare. Before 2015 and 2016, Mr. Durand was an Accelerator Manager at LGT Bank’s impact investment arm, LGT VP, providing operational support to LGT VP’s portfolio companies in Thailand.

Mr. Durand started his career in buy-side equity research at Krungsri Asset Management (MUFG Bank). Mr. Durand holds a MSc in Development Finance from the University of Manchester, a BBA from HEC Montreal and is a CFA charterholder. Damien is a Thai-Swiss-French tri-national
