Executive Director

Dan was born in western Canada, grew up in Ontario, but has spent much of the past 25+ years living and working in Bangkok.

During the Tom Yam Kung crisis he helped many Thai businesses restructure their debts with foreign and domestic creditors. After a 7-year stint in Alberta’s Oilsands beginning in 2008, Dan returned to Thailand in late 2015, where he spent the next six years advising early-stage businesses on strategy and fundraising.

In his latest role, Dan serves as the Executive Director of the Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CanCham), overseeing day-to-day operations and working with CanCham’s Board of Directors to support the Canadian business community. The chamber has a very active events calendar, with several larger signature events and a variety of smaller networking events scheduled throughout the year.
