avid Bigander is a versatile filmmaker and director known for his exceptional storytelling abilities and innovative approach to visual communication. He developed a passion for the arts from a young age, particularly drawn to the realms of advertising, directing, and acting.
After completing his foundational education in Communication Art with a focus on Advertising at Bangkok University, David Bigander embarked on a journey to further hone his craft. He pursued advanced studies in Directing at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York, immersing himself in the dynamic cultural landscape of the city that never sleeps.
Fuelled by a desire to expand his artistic horizons, he also engaged in Acting and Directing classes under the mentorship of M.L. Bhandevanov Devakula, gaining invaluable insights into the nuances of performance and the intricacies of cinematic storytelling.
Armed with a diverse skill set and a thirst for creative exploration, David Bigander ventured into the realm of commercial filmmaking, where he quickly made a name for himself as a visionary director.
Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed clients across a diverse range of industries, including household names such as L’Oréal Paris, Nivea, Motorola, and Lenovo, among others.
His expertise extends beyond the realm of advertising, with notable contributions to television series and feature films that have captivated audiences both domestically and internationally. Some of Bigander’s notable works include the Netflix series My Dear Warrior (2019), the critically acclaimed BITE ME: The Series (2021), and the feature film Dear Kitakyushu (screened at the Kitakyushu International Film Festival in December 2023), showcasing his versatility and ability to excel across different formats and genres.
