David, who holds Dutch nationality, has spent much of his life in the region and currently splits his time between Thailand and Singapore.

With over 20 years of experience, David has led teams and consulted organizations across diverse sectors including mining, manufacturing, finance, transport, and healthcare. His expertise encompasses digital transformation, strategy, governance, and cybersecurity.

As the Group Director Digital (Group CIO) at Thai Union, David leads the company’s digital function through a comprehensive digital transformation. His focus is on the digitization of commercial, manufacturing, and sustainability capabilities, while establishing a robust and sustainable digital function supported by foundational platforms.

Outside of work, David is a keen outdoor enthusiast with a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and social sciences.
