Dayne is a highly accomplished film and tv professional with over three decades of expertise in visual effects and post-production. His commitment to excellence and ability to navigate complex production landscapes have earned him a solid and reliable reputation as a visionary leader in the industry.
Before founding Kraken Kollective, he was the Head of Post Production for Local Original Movies with Amazon MGM Studios where he played a crucial role in founding the expansion territory of Southeast Asia, generating compelling content across the region.
His career began in Australia then moved to London where he worked for 17 years with a range of major companies such as Dneg, Framestore, Cinesite, and Jim Henson’s Creature Workshop on blockbuster titles like Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, John Carter, The DaVinci Code, Tomb Raider 2, and the Academy Award winning film The Reader.
He has been based in Asia for the past 13 years, building a deep knowledge of the many cultures and diverse business landscape. In this region he’s managed projects for Netflix, Apple+, Paramount, Amazon MGM Studios, Warner Bros, Paramount and a multitude of regional studios and production companies.
Dayne has been a member of the Visual Effects Society since 2008, and has served three terms on it’s Board of Directors.
