Chief Operating Officer / Head of Food Business

Dr. Oliver Gottschall is a C-Level Executive and former Management Consultant. In his current role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Head of Food Business at Betagro Public Co. Ltd. he leads Betagro’s Food Business globally, which also includes overseeing 7 Food Processing Factories and the company’s Food Innovation Center (FIC).

Prior to this he was Chief Strategy Officer of Minor Food PCL and The Mall Group Co. Ltd., and before that Executive Vice President of Human Resources & Strategy at Big C Supercenter Public Co. Ltd. Earlier in his career he was Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company in Munich and Bangkok, heading McKinsey’s Procurement & Supply Management Practice in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Oliver holds a Ph.D. in International Human Resource Management from the University of Lincoln (UK), a Certificate in Advanced Corporate Finance from NYU Stern School of Business (USA), a M.A. in Business Economics from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) and a Bachelor-equivalent degree in European Business Studies from the University of Bamberg (Germany).
