Co-Founder

Friso Poldervaart, a long-term resident of Thailand, is the co-founder of Digital Distinct, a company established in 2015 that specializes in media production and creative solutions for clients worldwide. In 2025, Digital Distinct is expanding into the film and television industry with the launch of Digital Distinct Films, set to debut its first production early this year.

Alongside his business, Friso co-founded the Bangkok Community Help Foundation (BCHF) in 2020, originally to provide COVID-19 relief. Since its inception, BCHF has grown into a vital support system for underprivileged communities, particularly in Bangkok’s Klong Toey slum. The foundation has distributed over 4 million meals and has helped more than 600 children attend school through its scholarship program.

Currently, Friso is leading a new initiative—building Bangkok’s first-ever inner-city homeless shelter—to offer a safe and supportive space for the city’s homeless population.
