Geert Warlop believes that every byte of data has a story to tell and has seen firsthand the power of data through his involvement in multiple startup companies across various emerging markets. He has a passion for building successful teams from scratch and has done so in Haiti, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam.

With over 25 years of experience in data, digital, FinTech, telecom, technology strategy business development, technology sourcing, planning, and (greenfield) implementations, Geert has become an expert in driving digitization efforts. He currently leads The BTS Group’s digitization efforts across the four principal business areas: Mass Transit, Media, Property, and Services.

Geert is a dynamic professional with solid experience managing multi-disciplined teams in high profile operations, engineering, IT, and business projects. He is a flexible and hands-on roll-out manager who can oversee the entire process from planning and sourcing to implementation, decision making, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
