Jacob Bogart is a lawyer trained in human rights law, international law, transitional justice, and international organizations. He has extensive experience conducting human rights research, legal analysis, and report writing. Jacob has worked for the United Nations, Human Rights Watch, the World Food Program, and several human rights NGOs in Southeast Asia. Prior to law school, Jacob worked for the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand as a Luce Scholar. Jacob graduated from Columbia Law School in 2018 where he received a Commendation in Human Rights, and was named a Public Interest Fellow, a James Kent Scholar, a Phi Kappa Phi Yeakel Endowed Fellow, and a Global Public Interest Fellow. Jacob graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in International Studies and French from The Ohio State University in 2014.
