James Laver

Actor / Voice Artist / Magician

James is an award-winning actor, voice artist, and magician. Originally from the UK, he has been based in Thailand for nearly 20 years.

A graduate of the Oxford School of Drama with over 15 years of professional experience, James is known as a dedicated, reliable, and versatile performer with a strong instinct for character and storytelling. He also has a reputation for being one of the nicest people on set or backstage.

His film credits include leading roles in Omukade and The Murderer, as well as featured roles in The Greatest Beer Run Ever, Previously Saved Version, Where We Belong, and The Cave.

An accomplished stage actor, James is a core member of the Peel the Limelight theatre company. His leading performances in Hand to God and I Am My Own Wife earned him Best Performance by a Male Artist in consecutive years from Thailand’s International Association of Theatre Critics.
