Jan Rohweder arrived in Thailand in 2010 as an exchange student and quickly established roots in the country he now calls home. In 2013, he founded Marketing Bear, a leading digital marketing and business transformation agency based in Bangkok. Under his leadership, Marketing Bear has achieved significant milestones, including winning the “Digital Marketing Branding Excellence” award in 2024. The agency specializes in strategic marketing support and multi-location business marketing, currently aiding over 750 business locations across Southeast Asia and the Middle East in driving foot traffic and increasing sales.

In addition to his role at Marketing Bear, Jan is passionate about education and knowledge sharing. He has served as a guest lecturer at prestigious Australian universities, including The University of Newcastle and La Trobe University. Jan also holds a voluntary position as Director at the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Thailand (AustCham Thailand). In this role, he is dedicated to fostering strong connections between Thai businesses and their Australian counterparts, enhancing bilateral trade and collaboration.
