Jean is the Director of the Alliance Française Bangkok since September 2004.

He previously worked for the same institution in Madagascar, Southern Africa, and Brazil.

The Alliance Française international network is made up of more than 800 centers in over 130 countries, dedicated to the promotion and teaching of the French language and Francophone cultures.

As Director of Alliance Française, Jean has organized hundreds of cultural events throughout his career, including concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, theatre productions, and hackathons.
