Jean-Louis Graindorge is the Managing Director of Gallothai Co., Ltd established in 1993 which he has been working for the past 30 years in Thailand.

Gallothai is a chocolate confectionery manufacturing company and caters for a wide range of customers from large industries to small artisans. The company also retails premium chocolates under the brand “Duc de Praslin Belgium” and FMCG chocolates under CHOCOCITY.

In 2001 he established Belco Confectionery Co., Ltd to manufacture chocolate Raw materials in Thailand as opposed to importing it from abroad and to supply the local industrial sector. This was an effort of vertical integration.

In 2007 he entered into a joint Venture with the Puratos Group based in Belgium to establish Puratos (Thailand) which manufactures raw materials for the Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate industry.

In 2012 he has established Shwe Cocoa, a small manufacturing presence in Myanmar supplying chocolate confectionery to professionals through local distributors as well as to retail shops under his brand Chococity.

In 2016 he has helped establish HHT International to distribute the Puratos Branded products in the Myanmar markets to cater to the needs of professionals in the Bakery, Patisserie and Chocolate fields.

In 2022 he has started Thai Sweets Design in Thailand which is a hand-made sugar decoration business which exports worldwide and also sells locally. These decorations are mainly used for cakes decoration.
