JY has been in Thailand for now 14 years. He spent most of it working for a Telecom Software Integrator, specializing in UI and UX consulting.

In 2018, looking for a career change and a way to return from one of his favorite activities since his Engineering School years, JY helped Riviera, an events agency headquartered in Shanghai, expand its footprint across southeast Asia by opening its Bangkok office.

After a little more than a year, COVID came and hit the industry very hard, but his IT experience helped the agency pivot quickly and deliver online events for big Tech companies such as Facebook, Twitter, or Netflix.

He’s now in charge of the whole SEA region, helping the agency to grow back through the rebound of the events industry.
