Jirasiri Kangvannavakul (Jean)
Flute / Piccolo

Jean Jirasiri Kangvannavakul is a flutist and piccolist whose artistry bridges both pop and classical styles.

She performs as a chamber musician and orchestral player, bringing expressive depth and vibrant energy to every stage.

Jean previously served as Principal Piccolo of Siam Sinfonietta, PYO, and the Thai Youth Orchestra (TYO).

With TYO, she won First Prize (Gold Medal) at the 2017 Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival in Vienna and performed at the prestigious Wiener Konzerthaus Gala Winner Concert.

Jean began studying flute at the age of 13.

She later refined her artistry with Kathryn Moorhead, Principal Flute of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, and Roberto Alvarez, Principal Piccolo of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

She holds a Master of Music degree from the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music.

A passionate chamber musician, Jean founded the woodwind trio H’muniemusik in 2020.

The ensemble won First Prize, Best Beethoven Reinterpretation, and the Audience Prize at the Princess Galyani Vadhana International Music Festival, further highlighting her dynamic musical voice on the international stage.
