Kanchan Avchare is a narrative alchemist exploring the intersection of mythology, science, and philosophy through film, theatre, and writing.

Her work investigates the individual-environment trade-off, guided by the question: Where are we going as a civilization?

She hails from a town called Jabalpur in India and has trained in physical theatre and martial arts, and, inspired by Asian performance traditions, she debuted as a filmmaker with ‘The Cosmic Atomic,’ premiering in Athens and Beijing last month, and now tours across the world to build it as an impact project bringing art and activism together for a better world.

There are screenings organised in Bangkok for next week.
