Profile

Korn Neeyabhan
Designer / Painter

The inspiration for creating Korn Doll stems from collecting celluloid dolls and tin toys, which are admired for their unique beauty and vibrant colors. By tailoring these features to personal preferences, such as size and design, the creator began crafting their own dolls.

Instead of dressing the dolls in clothing, the designs are painted directly onto the dolls, while still maintaining the colors and patterns characteristic of tin toys. The first doll was created in 2009 using resin and later evolved into vinyl in 2017, alongside works painted on canvas.

The Korn Doll character expresses impressions, records encounters, shares opinions, and conveys hopes, all through the form of vintage-style dolls, toys, and collectibles. These creations are designed to be easily appreciated, whether as a personal diary or cherished collectibles.
