Kush is the co-founder and CEO of Papaya, a startup focused on digitizing the ordering and payment experience at restaurants, bars and hotels in Thailand. Through this, the company helps these merchants grow profits through turning tables faster and increasing basket sizes while operating more cost effectively.

Kush grew up in Thailand before heading to Boston for his undergraduate studies. Following this, he worked for JPMorgan in London before heading to Chicago for his MBA at Booth. He moved back to Thailand 5 years ago and joined the Boston Consulting Group, working with consumer and food retail companies across SEA. Having seen the gaps in those industries, he started Papaya with a fellow BCGer a year ago and launched their product in March 2023.

When Kush isn’t working on his startup, you can find him playing golf or exploring the Bangkok restaurant and bar scene.
