With over 20yrs of experience in ‘joining the dots’, Lucien has nurtured a passion to create opportunities and through these opportunities empower others by creating jobs, developing new skills and ensuring sustained growth. He was part of the founding team of OneCart, the Happy Fresh or Instacart of South Africa and had supported the growth from 2 to +1000 employees before exiting to Walmart in 2021. He also had the opportunity to serve in the mobility, mining and management consulting sectors.

Key highlights include leading the sales and business development efforts to secure +- 500m EUR of business for Bombardier Transportation to deliver mobility solutions across 3 continents (Africa, Asia + Australia) and establishing a mining business within Bombardier Transportation including the setup of key partnerships and growth from 0 to +300m EUR. Today, he finds purpose and passion through venture building and investments. Key activities include: Founder at Everyone Ventures, a community (investors, founders, corp. execs, venture builders, etc.) that support companies within verticals and geos of expertise and influence.

Their mission is to build a new world of venture where ‘everyone’ has access to the most exclusive asset class in the world. Everyone can be part of our venture team. Everyone can participate in venture deals. Innovation Coach (Global) and Champion (APAC) within Alstom (the worlds largest transportation company). I build and manage a portfolio of startups to achieve an Roi of x6 within a multinational corporate. Investment Committee at AngelSchool. a syndicate backed by 1000LPs investing in SaaS companies and deploying +-2mUSD per annum Director at South African Thai Chamber of Commerce. Our mandate is to serve the people and businesses of South Africa and Thailand and so directly help in the economic and social advancement of both countries.
