Maria’s journey began in Pattaya, Thailand, where she moved as a child from her home in Russia. She later relocated to Bangkok to pursue culinary studies at Le Cordon Bleu, but soon realized her true passion lay elsewhere— in the world of film. Driven by a desire to fully immerse herself in the industry, she transitioned to acting and took on roles in production, working as an Assistant Director (AD) and Production Assistant (PA) on various sets.

It was during this time that Maria’s interest in film distribution was sparked, leading her to dive deeper into the business side of filmmaking. Today, she works as a Client Relations Executive at Blue River Films. Maria continues to explore and learn about every aspect of the film industry, always eager to discover new opportunities to grow and contribute.
