Marie GOSSART

Born1969, North of France.
Graduates from Sciences-Po Paris.
Works as client officer then strategic planner in the global advertising field for more than 15 years.

Moves to Tokyo where she happens to reconnect with her deep love for arts and poetry.
Back in Paris, initiates her «ACTIONWRITING# » project in 2011 which has been on since. AW# is a series of performances aimed at putting the emphasis on the gesture of writing/drawing. An ability which is specific to human beings, bridging body and mind.

From 2020, explores the powers of sound and vibrations in order to re-balance/harmonize energies on both physical and mental levels.
Under the name of Sounds of Mary proposes « soundbathing » sessions (mainly gongs and cristal vessels) since 2023.

Views herself as a poet rather than a visual/performing artist.
A collection of a few poems of hers was published in 2024 under the name “Fendre le ciel”.
