Martin is a half-Thai, half-American director and screenwriter living in Bangkok. After graduating film school at New York University in 2015, he lived in Los Angeles for five years writing scripts and working freelance. He moved to Bangkok in 2020 with an opportunity to direct his first feature film.

In the past four years, he’s worked for leading Thai studios as their English language writer and director. These studios include Benetone Films and M Pictures. Recently, he was a writer on the Amazon Prime film called, ‘Congrats My Ex!’ starring Bella (Ranee Campen) and Bright (Vachirawit Chivaaree).

After he spent a year completing a feature length documentary for a gems industry tycoon, he opened up his own production house, ‘Barshai Studios.’ The company focuses on English language movies in Thailand. Currently, they are developing an original Vietnam War film. His company also provides production and editing services for any feature film, documentary, or promotional needs. They will have the official launch party soon.
