Michael Singer

Unit Production Publicist and Publicity Executive

Michael Singer has worked in motion picture and television publicity and production for more than half a century. He has primarily worked on location as a unit (production) publicist on more than 60 feature film and television projects with directors such as Oliver Stone, Terrence Malick, Norman Jewison, Terry Gilliam, Ang Lee, Ridley Scott, Tim Burton, Joseph Kosinski, and Gore Verbinski.

Singer has written and/or edited more than 20 published books on the subject of film. He is a voting member of both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). In 2014, Singer received the Les Mason Lifetime Achievement Award from the Publicists of the International Cinematographers Guild.
