Michel Parys had a long diplomatic career, being posted in Brussels, Los Angeles, Seoul, Cairo, Vienna, Tokyo, Marseille, Paris, and Manila, and is currently the Ambassador of Belgium in Bangkok. But in his youth, Michel Parys went to film school and wrote several screenplays that won awards at competitions in the United States. He is also involved in animation and manga.
