Mikaël is a French digital artist, motion graphics designer and co-founder of Kimaÿ Pit, an animation and content studio. Based in Asia for over a decade, his career spans the worlds of traditional art, digital design, film and animation.

From a young age, he has been captivated by the interplay between nature, technology and visual expression. He went on to study Fine Arts and Graphic Design in France, but soon found himself drawn to more experimental media, particularly the emerging field of digital art and motion graphics design. Fascinated by the possibilities offered by technology and the emergence of mixed media, he began experimenting in the digital field in the late 90s and keep crafting his art to this day.

Passionately curious, autodidact by nature, he is always seeking new ways of creating and constantly learning from the various project he has taken on.
