“NEWYEAR” Paphakorn Srikunrayakorn, 31 years old.

NEWYEAR, as a child, fell in love with art, and she has never stopped drawing since. It was what she always looked forward to after school, and she ultimately turned this passion into a profession when she grew up.

Oftentimes, NEWYEAR’s works, especially her beloved characters, are guided by her heart and brought to life by her hands. If you ask what she thinks when her hand moves, she might not have the answer for you.

Even after years of effort and experience, she is still thrilled by the smiles her art brings to her audience’s faces. She always feels like a magician, sharing good moments and positive energy with her followers. Moreover, she built “nyystudio”, a brand that brings NEWYEAR’s lines, colors and characters closer to her audience.

This year NEWYEAR created a new character of Wednesday, an overthinking little doggy, drowning in Thoughts yesterday, anxious today, uncertain but Hopefully, things will somehow get better tomorrow. Wednesday is similar to us all, having a mix of happiness and Sad moments throughout.
