In 1997, the film he worked on as a line producer won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. This marked the beginning of a long career in the Dutch and European film world.

He has worked with renowned directors such as Paul Verhoeven, Mike van Diem, Martin Koolhoven, and recently, Hagai Levi. He currently divides his time between Thailand and the Netherlands, where he is working on a new Netflix series.
