Pascal is a Belgian film director, screenwriter, and producer based in Bangkok.

He has directed award-winning films in live action and 2D animation, screened at major international festivals, including Cannes.

Before turning to filmmaking, he worked as a photojournalist, covering a wide range of assignments such as sports events and war reporting.

In addition to directing and writing, he also works as an editor, animator, and music composer, and has developed technical skills in visual effects and underwater cinematography.

Comfortable across a wide range of genres, from comedy to thriller, he has also worked as a script doctor on various projects.

He created a television mini-series produced by MTV Networks and broadcast on Nickelodeon, and later directed Sunflower Seed, a biopic exploring the youth of painter Vincent van Gogh, blending fiction and 2D animation.

He recently co-founded the production company Siam Sunset Pictures and is currently developing Crossroads, an intimate, character-driven feature film in the vein of Lost in Translation and Before Sunrise.

A strong advocate of shooting on film, Pascal remains convinced that 35mm is a reliable format that ensures the long-term preservation of cinema.
