Philippe Carron

Philippe Carron is a French director and motion designer, born in 1966 in Maubeuge and based in Brussels since 2001. His work as a director focuses on the development of characters in fiction, primarily through media mix.

After starting as a painter, illustrator, and later a stage designer for contemporary dance and fashion in Paris, Philippe transitioned to special effects, joining Mikros Image in 1999.

His directing career began in 2006, where he has since worked on commercials, video clips, short films, and animated movies using a wide range of techniques, including 2D and 3D animation, stop motion, live-action, papercut, rotoscopy, pixilation, animatronics, and puppetry. He combines these techniques creatively based on the needs of each project, with imagination being the only limit.

Philippe’s work has taken him to Lisbon, Dubai, Tel Aviv, Budapest, Zagreb, and Luxembourg, with most of his projects based in Paris and Brussels.
