Plah was born in Bangkok, Thailand, and is the only child of her parents. Her father, a Thai army general, has had a significant influence on who she is today. Growing up in military barracks, surrounded by tough male officers, gave her the strength she continues to use in her adult life.

Her uncompromising nature has driven her through life and led her to where she is now. Living on the military campus also gave her the opportunity to discover her vocal talent. When her father played the guitar, Plah was always eager to accompany him with her singing, quickly becoming a little star within the army community.

Plah began her acting career at 17 and now owns her own production company. She has also presented her films at the Festival de Cannes over the past seven years.
