Pierre S. Mounier is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Citizens I.D, a design studio known for its bold creative vision and multidisciplinary approach.

A French designer and master carpenter, he brings over a decade of hands-on craftsmanship, design leadership, and project experience across Asia.

Since founding Citizens I.D in 2014, Pierre has guided the studio’s creative direction and helped grow it into an award-winning team, delivering more than 200 turnkey projects spanning hospitality, residential, commercial spaces, and bespoke furniture.

In 2017, he co-founded Citizens Development, expanding the studio’s reach into real estate development and allowing the company to design, build, and curate its own signature projects.

His work blends artistry, cultural insight, and technical precision, resulting in spaces and products that feel both contemporary and deeply rooted in craft.

Recognized for his contributions to design and culture, Pierre represented Myanmar as a French finalist for the ASEAN Culture Award in 2022.

Today, he continues to lead Citizens I.D with a focus on innovation, storytelling, and the pursuit of thoughtful, human-centered design.
