Rata Jacquemart grew up in Bangkok and moved to France at 17 with a French-Thai tech scholarship. She is the CEO and co-founder of Differs, an AI SaaS company revolutionizing retail with predictive AI solutions to combat margin loss and reduce waste. With over 13 years of experience in AI, she delivers cutting-edge technology to the retail industry.

Holding a PhD in Robotics from CentraleSupélec and a Bachelor’s in Physics from ENS Ulm, Rata expertly bridges technology and business. She led AI consulting for EMEA Retail at Dataiku and contributed significantly as a data scientist at BCG X, fifty-five, and dtac.

Rata’s passion for predicting customer behaviors has enabled global retailers to thrive in diverse sectors. By helping retailers predict precisely customers’ sensitivity to discounts, she has helped brands like Sephora, L’Oreal, Vertbaudet, Index Living Mall among others achieve an average +18% margin increase during promotions.

Differs, named one of the Top 10 French AI Innovations of 2024 by Le Point, is backed by Jean-Baptiste Rudelle, co-founder and ex-CEO of Criteo (NASDAQ: CRTO), as a major investor. A mother of two, Rata enjoys watching K-dramas and dancing to K-pop. She also plays classical trumpet and performed with the Association Symphony of Paris.
