JOAR ENTERTAINMENT CO., LTD
Independent Director & Producer

Xie Ren Jay is a Thai independent filmmaker, director, and producer whose work explores the intersection of technology, human psychology, and ethical dilemmas in the digital age.

With a strong focus on short films and concept-driven narratives, Jay is particularly drawn to stories that examine AI, data privacy, identity, and the emotional consequences of living in algorithm-shaped societies.

Jay’s recent short film Log-Friend is a psychological drama with soft sci-fi elements that reflects on trust, consent, and human dependency on artificial intelligence.

The project has been developed with international festival circulation in mind and positioned for global discussions around AI ethics and near-future storytelling.

Beyond directing, Jay is actively involved in producing, project development, and international collaboration, working closely with creatives and producers across Europe and Asia.

Jay has experience navigating film markets, industry forums, and co-production environments, including festival-linked industry platforms.

In parallel, Jay is developing a slate of original IPs spanning short films, feature concepts, and cross-media storytelling, with long-term ambitions to bridge cinema, new media, and emerging technologies.

Through storytelling, Jay aims to create emotionally grounded narratives that question modern systems of power, access, and choice—inviting audiences not only to watch, but to reflect.
