Brussels born, Romy grew up in France and navigates between film and music. At 14, she sings in the teen hit «Moi je te dis Lol», which buzz on the internet (1 m. of views) and then writes the short film «Lol & les Lolies», awarded at the Festival Ptit Clap 2012, chaired by Arnaud Tsamère. There, she is spotted by the group Telfrance, who signs her series project.

Romy studies musical comedy, before joining the School of Cinema of Luc Besson in script section. She meets her godmother, Audrey Diwan (Golden Lion Winner in Venice 2022).

At 19, she directed the web series «Les Lolies», about a funny mom and daughter duet.
Romy plays, directs and collaborates on scripts (Ruben Amar, Audrey Diwan, Micha Wald, Olivier Megaton).

At 22, Romy moved to Los Angeles to study film production at UCLA and then returns to Paris to launch her production company, Panach Company.

At 23, she directed her first film, “My (ap)parents’ divorce”, and composed the scoring, with Alexandre De La Baume.

In this coming of age autofiction, Romy investigates the reasons for her parents’ divorce. Romy Trajman writes and sings the original songs.

The film premiered at Tallinn Black Nights, Groland Festival and the Millennium 2021 Festival

The film is released in June 2022, broadcast on RTBF in October 2022, it receives enthousiastic reviews (Le Monde, Télérama, France Inter, Le Monde etc).

In 2022, Romy is the host of the Millenium Film Festival Opening Gala in Brussels, chaired by Julie Bertuccelli.

She joined the artistic board of the Millenium Film Festival, chaired by Ai WeiWei (2023) and Olivier Stone (2024).

Her next film, an artistic thriller starts shooting in 2025 with the RTBF.

Both filmmaker and musician, Romy is writing her next romcom and developing a musical album.
