Sara D’Anzeo is an italian-american professional with over twelve years of expertise in international development with the United Nations, non-profit and private organizations. As a Partnership Specialist for UN ESCAP she is currently responsible for developing and overseeing innovative regional partnerships aimed at leveraging public and private capital to pilot and scale financing models that support women entrepreneurs. She has co-founded WE-Brand, an volunteer-driven initiative to promote women entrepreneurs (sheconnects. org) Previously, she was involved in engaging the private sector to promote responsible business practices at UNDP, undertook regional business development roles in multinational enterprises and led economic cooperation projects for the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce in the USA.

She holds a Master’s degree in Law from Macerata University, Italy, with a final thesis on Comparative Law at University of Miami School of Law, Florida.
