Building on his success in post-production, Surawut expanded into directing and producing. In 2016, he directed the experimental mini-series The Dreamer: Condo/Barista/Architect.

His directorial voice matured with Girl From Nowhere Season 2 (2021), where he helmed the episode “Liberation” under Jungka Studio and SOUR Bangkok. The series gained international acclaim on Netflix for its bold narrative and visual style.

In 2024, Surawut produced the TV mini-series Tomorrow + I, a coming-of-age drama that showcased his ability to balance intimacy with innovation.

In 2025, he served as producer for a well regraded ‘The Stone’, a mysterious new drama noted for its atmospheric visuals and strong character which were selected to be shown in many festivals around the world. Most recently, he is now producing an action packed film called ‘Godskin’ which will be launched in 2026.
