Tamara Sangdow
Director & Creative Director
Tamara Sangdow is a Thai-American Director and Creative Director with over 10 years of experience in the music, media, and creative industries. She currently splits her time between New York and Bangkok.
Her career began with a passion for music, capturing moments and emotions through photography and film, and observing the complex yet magical world around her. Through this journey, she built a deep foundation in rhythm and storytelling—elements that remain at the core of her creative approach.
Currently, Tamara works as an independent writer and director while collaborating with brands, agencies, and artists on a project basis across video, social, photography, strategy, and experiences.
Previously, she served as a Creative Director at Condé Nast, overseeing branded creative development for Pitchfork, Wired, Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue, Teen Vogue, Them, and The New Yorker. Prior to that, she worked at VICE Media. As a director, she has had the pleasure of working with brands such as Singapore Tourism, Häagen-Dazs, Glossier, MGM Hotels, and SK-II, among others.
Her projects, created in partnership with her amazing teams, have won a Gold Telly Award, a Bronze Clio Music Award for her collaboration with Kaytranada and Madlib for Lexus and Pitchfork, and a Berlin Commercial Festival Official Selection. She was also named a COLORFUL Finalist in the Young Guns competition by The One Club.
