Founder

Originally from Yangon, Ted is an experienced startup founder with over 20 years of experience in the Hotel and Hotel Technology sectors.

He began his journey in the Finance Department for Shangri-La Hotels, specializing in procurement & inventory management area. He worked with hotels across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. This path subsequently led him to Thailand, where he has made his home for over 15 years.

In 2011, Ted entered the entrepreneurial world by co-founding a company that developed enterprise-grade hotel procurement and inventory management software, beescm.com. His client portfolio includes Thailand’s leading hotel operator, Centara Hotels & Resorts, and other 5-star international chains and standalone hotels in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Maldives, Qatar, Dubai, Mauritius, and Madagascar.

An active participant in fostering a strong startup community, Ted contributed to the Thai startup community by creating the YC Startup School Bangkok Community group in July 2022 during YC online summer program. Since its inception, the group has organized monthly meetups to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Today, Ted is the Co-founder and CEO of ProcuEase, a new innovative startup aiming to disrupt the hospitality industry by transforming procurement and inventory management processes, starting with small and medium-sized hotels in Thailand.
