Carolyn D’ Lucid Dream is a Director of Photography based in Bangkok, passionate about creating surreal and distinctive visuals. His work often blends dreams, emotions, and reality, resulting in images that are soft, ethereal, and emotionally impactful. Lately, he has been focusing on projects that emphasize storytelling, including fashion, music videos, and commercials.

He loves experimenting with new techniques—whether it’s playing with light, trying unusual lenses, or using everyday objects to create unique visual characters, such as turning a plastic bottle into a filter for a distinct look. His strength lies in adapting to different directors’ styles and using light as a primary storytelling tool, giving every shot depth and emotional layers.

Recently, he has been exploring 3D scanning technology of various locations to create previs for directors and crew, helping them visualize the atmosphere beforehand. He is currently experimenting with Blender and Cinetracer 2, which make lighting and shot planning both precise and fun.

His work spans music videos, fashion, commercials, and art projects, though he primarily focuses on music videos, where he has been able to develop his visual language consistently. In the future, he aspires to direct a feature film, expanding the way he tells stories through visuals and creating immersive worlds that audiences can fully step into.
