Thom Hayward is a serial entrepreneur from San Francisco, boasting over 30 years of extensive experience in advertising and production. He has consistently fused creativity with technology, working with high-profile clients such as Apple, Pixar, Oracle, Cisco, and many more. As the creative director for one of the pioneering gaming companies on the Apple platform, Thom led the development of iconic computer games including “Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?”, “Print Shop”, and “Prince of Persia”.
In 2014, with his partner Linda, Thom relocated to Southeast Asia in 2014, where he and his partner Linda established a full-service advertising agency. This venture evolved into MOONJI Production and later, expanded to include advanced post-production techniques such as 2D/3D animation and VFX/GFX during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Driving the expansion into virtual production, Thom and Linda forged a strategic partnership with L&E Beyond, leading to the creation of Studio X Beyond. This venture has set new benchmarks by merging physical and digital production landscapes, enhancing the creative capabilities of filmmakers and revolutionizing content creation in the region.
Thom’s passion for success and growth extends to his personal life, where he dedicates much of his time to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. Throughout his life, he has been a competitive athlete and has achieved significant athletic accomplishments including professional skateboarding, surfing, collegiate pole vaulting and mountain biking.
