Multidisciplinary Art Film Maker Producer
Tyler is an interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker. His work often focuses on island spaces, mystical themes and nature.
He has over 20 years of experience in the media arts and event production. Tyler’s feature documentary “My Father’s Land”, was awarded an Amnesty International Human Rights prize and featured on PBS AfroPop Channel, after a world wide festival tour.
Tyler also works as a contemporary theatre and dance director, recently producing the play “No Exit” by Jean-Paul Sartre, in Koh Phangan, Thailand. Tyler was a fellow at the EAVE Producers Lab hosted at the Nouve Regards Film Festival in 2019 and EuroDoc’s 2022 producing documentary in the Caribbean, as well as a guest producer at the ACP supported DEENTAL workshop in 2023 & 2024.
In addition to creative producing, Tyler has extensive experience leading educational programs on mindfulness through the martial arts. He has taught master classes in the United States, South East Asia, the Caribbean and the EU.
