Chininha
Rapper and Poet
Born in Macau, raised in Portugal and currently living in Thailand, this half Thai-Chinese/Portuguese artist had performed in festivals like Festival do Avante (PT), Boomtown Fair (UK) and Wonderfruit Festival (TH).
Between writing, producing and making music with other artists around the world since 2007, she finds inspiration within all the frequencies of mother nature, life experiences and genres of music. In 2020, she launched her first solo album ‘MIHI’ available in the main digital platforms along with mini-series on YouTube. She is now working on the physical format (DVD) of ‘MIHI’ while also brewing some new ideas for the nearest future.
From the Portuguese female collective Hellas (based in Portugal), Chininha seeks to elevate and inspire other woman artists by sharing her own stories and visions on stage through rap and poetry.
Chininha is also in love with children. With a degree in ‘Entertainment and Tourism’ and a Pos-Grad in ‘Early Childhood and Education’, for the past 11 years, she has been working in the education sector amongst toddlers and teenagers from Portugal and Thailand. She believes the best way to keep learning is to play, talk and spend time with the youngsters.
